Looking back on Exchange 2015 in San Francisco
Every fall, I have the distinct privilege of participating in two world-class events. EQUIP’s Leadership Open, which I talked about last week, and the John Maxwell Company’s Exchange. This year, both were in California.
Exchange just took place November 5-7, in San Francisco, the “City by the Bay.” Like every Exchange, the intimate gathering was filled with both exclusive experiences and excellent leadership teaching.
We were inspired and challenged by great speakers, including Alan Mulally, Liz Wiseman, Tony Bond, Dave Dravecky, and as a special surprise, Pat Lencioni. I learned something significant from all of them, especially Liz Wiseman, who delivered a stand-out message on Multipliers.
We took over several of San Francisco’s iconic cable cars, traveling to our “surprise experience:” a delicious meal and talk by celebrity chef Michael Chiarello.
Our visit to the campus of VMware, a Fortune 100 Best Company to Work For, was another inspiring highlight.
Every year, the team that creates Exchange hits a home run, with one-of-a-kind experiences in the host city and insightful teaching that we can go home and apply right away. They did it again this year, and I’m so proud of their dedication and effort – and their results! Exchange is a can’t-miss event for many attenders, including me!
